Role of IT in Health Care in Sikkim

 Health is the most important aspect of life in this modern era. So here I am with my first blog telling the role of IT in Health Care.

In this blog I will be telling Health Care facilities in Sikkim. Though Sikkim boasts of a good primary Health Care system, the focus of Health Care priorities reproductive, maternal, neonatal, child and adolescent health. 

IT is an important element of all the sectors but plays a vital role in Health Care. We can see this that Sikkim is the great example for this cause. As we can see sikkim has improved health infrastructure with the help of IT which has been instrumental in enhanching patient care.

Primary Health Care centre (PHCs) have been equipped with all the modern facilities including X-Rays, Ultrasound, Medical Imaging, MRI, Neuro Imaging etc which cannot be accessed without IT in Sikkim, says Vishal Chauhan, Secretary of Department of Health Care and Family Welfare, government of Sikkim.

We can see in the above chart that Sikkim has shown a sgnificant decline in the Death Troll and this is beacause of the impact of IT. Sikkim has improved a lot due to availability of the new Health Care facilities in the state as well as increase in the district wise doctor population ratio as IT also provides facilities in medical studies.
